How do braces work?
Dr. Clark or Dr. Talley creates a precise, digital treatment plan. They then bond ceramic or metal brackets to your teeth, placing them in the exact positions needed to achieve the planned tooth movements. Finally, they insert an archwire into the brackets.
Your appliance exerts constant, gentle force in a carefully controlled direction, shifting the teeth into their proper places. Not only does this lead to a straighter smile, but it also creates the ideal relationship between the upper and lower teeth for a healthy, strong bite.
